Q: Why do I get a huge headache and why does my jaw hurt when I sing intense songs?
Songs like ‘tip of my tongue’ by kelly clarkson do it. Or Halo by beyonce.

Am i not breathing right? How can I fix that?

A: suggest you see doctor but huge headache could be stress as to jaw hurting I cant really say dont know those songs but hitting high pitches for sustained periods can do that at times or if you are not using your natural voice.

breathing right gotta breathe into diapham not lungs and time it with breaks in singing if possible take deep breaths if it is going to be sustained notes. like song Gloria In excelsias Deo type dont know if you are familiar with hymn but best one I know. (not good speller sorry)

Q: Songs to listen to cure a headache?
Okay, I like this band but their music gives me a headache (so I don’t really like them but whatever, the lead singer is cute… Tokio Hotel btw) so I was wondering if there was some other song that would reverse the effect?

A: Jimi Hendrix Bold As Love.

Q: What is a good way to sort my songs on itunes without giving myself a headache?
into playlists.

A: I have playlists of the following:
Songs you’d like to listen to with friends, party songs
Songs that help you work out
Songs to help me go to sleep
Songs that are backup if you get sick of the same old stuff

I also try to sort it somewhat into genres, I don’t want Britney Spears popping up on Shuffle if I’m listening to Rap.

It might seem daunting at first, but just go through each song and see when you would most likely listen to it, what genre it is, etc.

Q: What are some good songs to listen to while writing a school paper?
Any nice (not loud or headache worthy) songs that are good to listen to while writing a paper for English?

I absolutely can not write without music. :D

A: Whenever I write a paper, I like to listen to Mozart (especially Symphony #41), Beethoven or Grieg. It’s nice and mellow, it doesn’t overpower your mind and I find it actually helps me.

Q: What are some good songs to listen to while writing a paper for school?
Any nice (not loud or headache worthy) songs that are good to listen to while writing a paper for English?

I absolutely can not write without music. :D

A: I listen to something that I can’t sing along to avoid distraction, like fusion jazz, ballad, or soft rock. Otherwise, I find myself singing and dancing.

A: Justin Bieber.
Miranda Cosgrove/ Selena Gomez (all those Nickolodeon guys who somehow were convinced that they can sing)
Jay-Z
Miley Cyrus

Hmmm… I could go on forever, but you get the idea.

Q: Why is it that I like songs that came out in the fifties/sixties?
Like songs from Frank Sinatra and Joni James and other songs that don’t really have fast tempos or songs that you understand the words to. Why is this? I like a few songs that come out in the past few years, but I can’t listen to them over and over again cause I’ll get a headache, but the jazz of Frank Sinatra can calm me down. My grandmother says that I’m an old soul. Which I have no idea what that means. What does it mean? And why do I like fifty year old songs?

A: You like fifty year old songs because they weren’t manufactured like today’s “music”. Your grandmother is really paying you a compliment.

There are many, many singers and musicians from the 30’s to the 60’s that you should explore if you like this kind of music….so many more than Frank Sinatra and Joni James. I urge you to dig them up…you’ll find it worthwhile.

Try the likes of Julie London, Kitty Kallen, Peggy Lee, Dick Haymes, and even Andy Williams.
