The list of historical figures that have had disorders such as bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, MPD, OCD, schizophrenia, autism, aspergers and many many more?

For a long time it was believed that Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland, was high on narcotics when he wrote that book. However, it was later revealed that he wrote Alice in Wonderland during an excruciating migraine headache episode.

Virginia Woolf, famous author, suffered from bipolar disorder and ended her life at age 59. Scholars have called her work unparalleled to anything because of its deep analytical meanings and complexity.

As many people already know Bill Gates and Einstein are both believed to be Asperger success stories.
There are many examples of this. Just do a google search on it and you will be amazed. And of course I’m not saying it is a must, but there does seem to be some correlation between extreme intelligence (well above average) and psychological disorders.
Sai m, no where in my question am I asking whether or not someone deserves success based on their abilities or inabilities. As someone who is emersed in the study of psychology and psychological disorders I have been given ample opportunities to view research on the matter. It was a note worth mentioning.
