Q: Headache Vomiting and left side of jaw hurting?
my mom is sick right now and she is in pain. she has a headache she’s vomiting a lot and her jaw hurts on her left side. hurry please help. what does this mean. please…
she’s already taken aspirin this morning and a vicadin about two or three hours ago. she’s had a headache all week. the throwing up just started about 7 hours ago and now her jaw is starting to hurt.

A: I’d call 911 or take her to the ER…those symptoms could be any number of things, including the beginnings of a heart attack.

Q: I have a slight fever, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, and gas. What do I eat/drink to feel better?
everything basically went away except for the diarrhea and gas. Am i supposed to drink water or 7up? Also, what do i eat? (ive just been eating toast)

A: dude…you are so weird……water is always better than 7up no matter what situation is , and beside you are sick right now. i prefer hot water over cold because that make your body warm and sweat those poison and virus out of you body. if you feel like puking , then soup would be the best choices , you can add some tomato , egg and veggies mixed up in the soup to make it digest easier and not gassy…..- -!!

Q: Fall down the stairs, headache, vomiting, big bump at the back of the head?
My friend fell back when coming up the stairs. She landed with her bottom on the bottom step and hit her head on the floor.

She immediately got a big bump at the back of her head. She has headache and was sick once.

What shall we do, the doctors in here are useless as ou will need to wait up to 6 hours before they attend you in ER section.
She is sleeping now.
She is alert and does not show any signs of poor coordination or speech problems.

Will call the NHS Direct and see what they say.

A: sounds like concussion, you should really get her checked out although if you really don ‘t want to go to the er, you can keep a close eye on her, let her sleep it off, keep her hydrated, and just check on her every couple of hours – if she gets any more groggy or won’t wake up properly you have to get her to the hospital. if your in the uk i would call nhs direct on 0845 46 47 they will help you

Q: My boyfriend has a cough, fever, congestion, headache, vomiting, and is fatigue. What does he have?
what are these symptoms? Are they strep throat or the flu?

SOS!!!! Help please!!!

A: These are not the symptoms of strep throat.

He could have gastroenteritis, some sort of “stomach flu.” We can’t really say for sure over this medium.

If he has a fever that won’t come down, or if this lasts over 24 hours, call a doctor on the phone for advice. They might want to examine him in person.

Q: What is the best home remedy to stop vomiting & headache due to the flu?
My boyfriend has been throwing up for almost two days and has a bad case of the flu accompanied by migranes. What ways can I help him here at home? If he doesn’t improve by morning, I am taking him to the ER.

A: I have here some home remedy guides for headache treatment.

Try these home remedy for headache:

* Mix a quarter teaspoon of clove powder in one teaspoon of cinnamon oil. Apply mixture to the location of pain.
* Take a few drops of ghee (clarified butter) on your palm. Mix 3 or 4 pieces of saffron in it, and rub it for two minutes. The saffron does not dissolve in the ghee, but its qualities are absorbed. Remove saffron and put two drops of this ghee in each nostril. · Dosage: Follow procedure twice a day.
* Mix 1 tablespoon of milk and half teaspoon of ginger powder and put one or Dosage; two drops in each nostril twice a day.
* Cut a lime in half, rub on forehead.
* In case of headaches caused by sun radiations, flowers of henna are found effective. Rub the henna flowers in vinegar and apply it all over your head. This home remedy will give instant relief.
* For headaches, eat a banana every time the linger headaches appear.
* Do not skip meals, especially for migraine sufferers.
* When headache is caused by cold winds, cinnamon works best in curing headache. Make a paste of cinnamon by mixing in water and apply it all over your forehead.
* Use heat: a warm washcloth or a hot water bottle can ease pain
* Lying down in a dark, silent room may also relieve headaches. This can be combined with massage or pressure application to the bridge of the nose. Also, applying a damp, cool cloth when lying down should help alleviate the pain.

Q: What is making headache and vomiting, once a week?
I am getting severe headache and sometimes vomiting once in a week, and I have no clue why I am getting this. It has happened to me 3 times in last 1 month. But it all goes if I take full rest for the whole day and I am back to normal the next day. While I am having the headache, I can not eat or drink anything because I am feel vomiting. what could be the reason? anything serious?

A: Sounds like a migraine. You could try OTC migraine meds, but some of them may contain caffeine which may make you feel jittery. I would talk to your doctor if you’re sensitive to light, sound, etc.
They make much better migraine meds these days, meds that allow you to be fully functional. I’d call your doc right away, just because there’s no reason to suffer needlessly.

Q: friend feeling unwell she has a headache, vomiting and a high temperature any ideas what she may have?
SHE ALSO HAS SORE THROAT.

A: She may have sunstroke if she has been out in the sun for too long. Maybe give her some electrolytes to help rehydrate her (i guess you can get them from the drug store) and plenty of water.

Otherwise i could just be a bug or food poisioning. Make sure she drinks water when she can and give her headache pills. And a bucket.

*Sore throat is probably from vomiting because of all the acid, it burns your throat. If she can keep it down some milk might help cool her throat.

If she gets worse or she is unwell in a couple of days, i would call the doctor.

Q: does Hypothyroidism symptoms include constant headache, vomiting and rapid heart rate, and weakness?

A: Hypothyroidism may also be associated with an increased risk of heart disease, primarily because high levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol — the “bad” cholesterol — can occur in people with an underactive thyroid. Even subclinical hypothyroidism, a more benign condition than true hypothyroidism, can cause an increase in total cholesterol levels and impair the pumping ability of your heart. Hypothyroidism can also lead to an enlarged heart and heart failure.
Yes it can cause the above symptoms or if you are taking medication for hypothyroidism it can be due to that too.

Q: What illness do you have if the symptoms are fever, headache, and vomiting?
The person had a fever and headache sat. night felt better all day sunday, got the fever again sunday night, and starting vomiting today in the morning but it was more like gagging than vomiting and when the person actually threw up it was clear liquid.

A: Those are very common symptoms so it could be just about anything, but more likely than not it is something common rather than uncommon. Perhaps flu? Go see a doctor and get diagnosed. Drink lots of fluids to avoid dehydration from the vomiting. Here is an article about the Swine flu, which has been going around.

Q: Headache, vomiting. What do I have?
I woke up with a headache this morning but then I started feeling like I want to throw up. Sometimes when I get a headache (even a small one) I throw up and I start to feel a bit better. Is it normal to throw up when you have a headache? Why does this happen?

A: You may have migraines. I have them really bad and there are alot of prescription meds to treat them. Are they often on one side of your head or are they accompanied by light/sound sensitivity? Or do they seem associated with your menstrual cycle? Do over the counter pain meds like tylenol and aspirin help at all or do they not touch it? Think these questions over and discuss it with your doctor. He/she should be able to recommend a medicine that will help.

Q: headache, vomiting, shaky, increased thirst are these signs of diabetes?
Lately I have been thirsty and nothing seems to quench my thirst not even water.
Lately i have been vomiting, shaky and thirsty! I can’t quench my thirst for nothing, not even water. i always have to have something to drink what could this be from! I am tired of feeling this way but don’t have a doctor or any insurance
btw i am 24 y/o and been sleeping a lot

A: Classic symptoms for sure. If you are of average weight at your age I think if you are diabetic you’d be type1 and will need insulin. You really need to find a way to see a doctor it’s dangerous to leave this unchecked. Best of Luck.

One time when I was sitting in a coach during a holiday, it passed through a very twisted road. It kept swerving left and right and left etc for about 1 hour. I got a very bad headache and my father vomited. Why is that so?

A: It looks very much like meningitis.
You need acute medical care IMMEDIATELY.
Get your Mom or Dad to get you to an Emergency Room.
NOW.

Meningitis is an inflammation of the membranes (meninges) and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding your brain and spinal cord, usually due to the spread of an infection.

In the past, most meningitis cases occurred in children younger than 5 years. But as a result of the protection offered by current childhood vaccines, most meningitis cases now occur in young people between the ages of 15 and 24.

The cause of most cases of meningitis is a viral infection, but bacterial and fungal infections also can lead to meningitis. The severity of the inflammation and the best treatment depend on the cause of the infection. Bacterial meningitis is generally much more serious than viral meningitis, and timely treatment is necessary.

Left untreated, bacterial meningitis can be fatal. If you suspect that you or someone in your family has signs or symptoms of meningitis, seek medical care right away. There’s no way to tell what kind of meningitis you have without seeing your doctor and undergoing testing.

You will need a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) which is not as bad as it sounds. The doctor needs to collect a small sample of spinal fluid. (If they have any trouble in the ER, ask that they page an anesthesiologist. We do spinals all the time and we’re really slick at it)

You will likely be admitted to the hospital, and given antibiotics. This can be fatal, so you need to get on it, NOW.

Q: Continuous headache ,vomiting, nausea, dizziness, shaking, black outs,is this really migrant?
I have all this symptoms and I’m not pregnant,I went to the doctor and she said that “she think” is migrant but she did not send me to a neurologist or to have a MRI to see what is causing this, she just give me paint medication. Is this really just migrant like she said, she should make more test or I should trust her 15 min appointment to determinate why I’m feeling this way for more than a month???
Sorry for my miss spelling!!
I don’t know because my doctor just give me a paint med but she did not check me or send me to another specialist to check my eyes,or anything.

A: Sounds more like migraine, are you getting any problems with your eyes?
